OSU Math Department Addresses Advisors
Dr. William Jaco, mathematics department head, and Dr. Chris Francisco, mathematics associate head for lower division instruction, recently addressed OSU advisors concerning the SUMS initiative and proper placements in mathematics courses. The talk covered the new ALEKS placement exam requirement, provided information regarding new or revised entry-level mathematics courses, and concluded with the most recent details about the state of the Mathematics Learning Success Center.
